Regional Manager – Loss Control

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough survey evaluations and audits of commercial auto product line accounts.

• Address assigned visit requests within the designated region.

• Identify and liaise with relevant underwriters regarding potential accounts that necessitate visits.

• Compose detailed reports outlining findings from visits/surveys and recommendations for enhancing policyholder operations.

• Conduct follow-up evaluations based on approved post-visit strategies.

• Coordinate scheduling with policyholders, underwriters, and home office personnel.

• Attend to safety and compliance requirements within the assigned territory.

• Build collaborative relationships with underwriters across various product lines and the claims department.

• Submit reports and findings to the requesting underwriters and the total quality administrator.

• Remain informed about local transportation regulations, State DOT requirements, and relevant OSHA regulations.

• Participate in meetings and seminars with policyholders, Lancer, and industry organizations.

• Write and edit safety articles as necessary.

• Manage communications via email, web, and mobile phone.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• This position requires 75-80% travel, primarily within OH, PA, DE, DC, MD, VA, and W VA.

• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Skilled in utilizing virtual meeting software.

• Comfortable learning and using custom web reporting software and navigating the company website as a resource.

• Knowledgeable in Federal Motor Carrier (US DOT) regulations, preferably including passenger transportation and its applicability.

• Strong communication and organizational abilities.

• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a safety or loss control-related role within the commercial auto industry.
