This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Supervise the implementation of Heaven Hill Brand’s strategic initiatives through effective distributor management in Texas.
• Ensure that distributors comply with brand policies and meet company objectives.
• Oversee promotional activities, Net Sales Value (NSV), market depletions, pricing strategies, brand programming, SAB, LMF, and T&E budgets.
• Create, implement, and assess local merchandising programs.
• Guide distributor sales efforts to accomplish sales, distribution, and merchandising targets.
• Negotiate pricing with distributor management teams.
• Provide education to distributors and sales personnel regarding products and initiatives.
• Monitor competitive market activities and assess distributor performance.
• Conduct visits to distributor offices and engage with sales representatives and management.
• Execute product seminars at accounts and with distributor sales teams.
• Ensure compliance with National Account mandates and manage pricing requests.
• Work collaboratively across National and Regional On and Off Premise customer teams.
• Track customer and consumer trends.
• Deliver monthly market activity reports to the Associate Vice President.
• Introduce new products to meet volume and distribution goals.
• Provide insights on marketing and sales initiatives.
• Build relationships with key retail accounts to enhance brand distribution, promotion, and shelf management.
• Maintain detailed distributor profiles, organizational structures, and records of competitive brand alignment.
• Oversee market T&E expenses and local budget management.
• Stay informed about applicable laws, regulations, and policies and communicate changes to management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least five (5) years of sales experience in the spirits or wine industry.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in people management.
• Understanding of product marketing, demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
• Familiarity with customer service principles and processes.
• Strong critical thinking abilities utilizing logic and reasoning.
• Analytical skills for gathering and presenting data to diverse audiences.
• Effective managerial and presentation capabilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Customer-focused approach with negotiation and business development expertise.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experienced with distributor databases for business communication and analytics.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Capability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, operate a computer, and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
