
Regional Heavy-Duty Sales Manager – Southeast Region

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.
• Cultivate and enhance relationships with existing and potential customers in the heavy-duty industry.
• Provide sales performance and market opportunity reports to the Heavy-Duty Sales Manager.
• Analyze customer data to suggest optimal inventory levels and identify sales opportunities.
• Strengthen relationships with distributors and create new partnerships.
• Lead initiatives to convert competitor product lines to DENSO products.
• Organize and conduct product training for distributor and store staff.
• Manage and take part in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
• Oversee customer service initiatives and address concerns from distributors.
• Conduct gap analysis and facilitate interchange of competitor parts to DENSO products.
• Meet and surpass sales targets and budgets through effective territory management.
• Offer technical training, customer support, and business analytics.
• Collaborate with the Heavy-Duty Sales Manager to optimize account productivity and effectiveness of rep agencies.
• Work with territory representative agencies to achieve sales goals and enhance customer service.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and high-level meetings with clients or partners.
• Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support customers, grow business, and strengthen relationships.
• Travel up to 50% of the time to seek and secure new sales opportunities.
• Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies for assigned accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience in the automotive aftermarket is preferred.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient presenter capable of interpreting and explaining technical or complex materials.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions for complex situations.
• Excellent negotiation capabilities.
• Proven competency in computer software and mainframe applications for data manipulation, analysis, and reconciliation.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel (intermediate level), and MS PowerPoint.
• Kaizen mindset.
• Ability to effectively implement the PDCA process.
• Must reside in the Southern US: Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Florida.
• Proximity to a major airport is preferred.
