
Regional HDPE Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for HDPE quote requests within the designated region.
β’ Create precise and timely project quotes that encompass materials, equipment, services, and support.
β’ Analyze project specifications and capture the entire scope, including pipe, fittings, fusion equipment, labor estimates, training, and service requirements.
β’ Determine the suitable fusion tooling based on pipe dimensions, joint configurations, jobsite conditions, and contractor abilities.
β’ Collaborate with the National Rental Center to include tooling rentals, training, service support, and related costs.
β’ Work alongside the General Manager of HDPE Sales on pricing strategies, customer positioning, and market competitiveness.
β’ Maintain and enhance quotation standards, templates, and processes.
β’ Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to secure project-specific pricing, lead times, and product solutions.
β’ Identify project risks, scope discrepancies, missing information, and competitive challenges, escalating issues as necessary.
β’ Provide support to field sales teams with technical advice, value-engineered alternatives, and recommendations on project scope.
β’ Track quote volume, turnaround times, conversion rates, and process effectiveness.
β’ Ensure a smooth transition from quote to order by delivering clear bills of materials, tooling requirements, and service expectations.
β’ Utilize Ferguson's nationwide distribution and logistics network to enhance freight costs and project profitability.
β’ Advocate for a scalable, centralized quoting model throughout the organization.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating, quoting, or project pricing within construction, infrastructure, utility, waterworks, industrial, or related sectors.
β’ Familiarity with estimating software such as PlanSwift, QuoteSoft, or similar platforms is advantageous.
β’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
β’ Preferred ability to interpret blueprints, plans, specifications, and project drawings.
β’ Exceptional communication, collaboration, and relationship-building capabilities.
β’ Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
β’ A self-motivated approach with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
β’ Proven problem-solving skills and the confidence to make well-informed recommendations.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Prior experience with HDPE piping, fusion equipment, waterworks, utility, or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
