Regional Finance Manager – US/Canada/UK/Ireland

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee the finance function for the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland regions.

• Manage regional financial accounts, including Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.

• Review monthly financial accounts and supervise accounting tasks with the Accounting Shared Service Center.

• Collaborate with the FP&A team to provide performance analysis and insights.

• Ensure that tax filings and declarations are completed accurately and on time.

• Lead annual financial audits for the region and assist with the Group audit process.

• Maintain and enhance internal controls in accordance with Group policies and procedures.

• Oversee cash collection activities and monitor accounts receivable performance.

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to regional leadership teams.

• Align regional financial strategies with the objectives of the Group.

• Assist the Group CFO with financial data, analysis, reporting, and risk mitigation.

• Engage in group-wide projects and special assignments as needed.

• Identify areas for growth, cost efficiency, and process improvement.

• Work closely with local operational teams and the Accounting Shared Service Center.

• Act as the finance representative for auditors, tax authorities, and banking institutions.

• Provide financial insights to local leadership teams.

• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax laws, and reporting requirements.

• Evaluate and enhance financial systems, processes, and reporting practices.

• Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and uphold high ethical standards.

• Support team development and leadership growth while maintaining company cultural values.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience.

• More than 8 years in a similar role within a medium to large private or multinational organization.

• Experience managing regional or multi-country responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in English (mandatory).

• Proficiency in the local language.

• Strong leadership abilities with people management skills.

• Knowledge of accounting processes.

• Experience in financial reporting.

• Audit support experience.

• High level of business acumen and strategic thinking skills.

• Experience in change management.

• Proficient in MS Office.

• Ideally proficient in SAP FI.
