Regional Field Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deploy to underperforming locations and assess root causes related to staffing, process adherence, driver experience, and site leadership.

• Develop stabilization plans that include deadlines and clear definitions of completion.

• Operate buildings directly in a player-coach capacity, temporarily taking control of operations as necessary.

• Re-establish daily operating rhythms, including shift starts, operational clock adherence, escalation pathways, and driver debriefs.

• Act as the site leader during periods of leadership vacancy and assist in onboarding permanent leaders.

• Provide operational leadership for new site launches throughout the initial live volume phase.

• Aid in regional peak readiness by formulating staffing plans, validating throughput, and preparing contingency strategies.

• Conduct audits of sites in accordance with the ground operations playbook to address and close operational gaps.

• Mentor supervisors to independently manage their buildings.

• Report recurring failure patterns to regional and central operations.

• Address tooling issues with product teams, providing actionable details.

• Oversee deployment metrics, including on-time delivery, deliveries per hour, delivered not received, operational clock adherence, days to standard, and 60-day post-deployment performance.

• Advocate for OSHA compliance and promote safe operating practices.

• Lead according to Veho's leadership principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in leading last-mile, delivery station, fulfillment, or high-volume distribution operations, with direct accountability for site or department performance.

• At least one experience in detailed operational turnaround, including metrics before and after.

• Proven people leadership skills with frontline hourly and contingent labor.

• Experience managing multiple sites or rapidly adapting to unfamiliar operations.

• A demonstrated ability to earn authority with teams that are not directly under your supervision and to develop a bench of successors.

• Willingness and capability to travel 75% or more within the assigned region, including extended overnight stays of several weeks.

• Comfort with technology-driven operations, operating systems, routing, and visibility tools.

• Capability to stand for the duration of a shift and perform physical tasks such as bending, moving, and lifting boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and early mornings.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
