Regional Engineer – Project Manager, Corrugated

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee capital and expense initiatives across corrugated boxes, sheets, mailers, and digital printing facilities.

• Organize and guide project teams through the phases of concept development, execution, and operational performance assessment utilizing the Georgia-Pacific Business Process for Projects.

• Utilize experience in the corrugated industry and engineering expertise for assigned projects.

• Collaborate with Manufacturing personnel, Business teams, and Technology Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout the project portfolio.

• Communicate project progress openly and manage budgets, timelines, and potential risks.

• Assess project alternatives, choose equipment and vendor partners, and develop contracting strategies.

• Offer on-site support during construction and startup phases.

• Achieve project objectives for product quality, production efficiency, timelines, costs, and safety standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of Project Engineering/Management experience leading capital and expense projects in Industrial Manufacturing or related fields.

• More than 5 years of experience in the corrugated industry.

• Proven ability to build highly effective project teams utilizing both internal and external resources.

• Experience in managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, supplier deliverables, teams, and a portfolio of multiple projects.

• Comprehensive knowledge of corrugated manufacturing and associated converting processes and equipment.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%, including weekends and holidays during construction and startup phases.

• Demonstrated experience leading teams to assess multiple options and deliver cost-effective projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or civil) is preferred.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / Forma, EcoSys, or MP2 software.

• PMP certification is required.
