This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.
• Act as an ambassador for Culture, Brand, and Customer Experience within the assigned region and throughout the organization.
• Manage a portfolio primarily consisting of Third-Party Logistic (3PL) carriers.
• Provide indirect support to the market of stores through delivery operations.
• Serve as a liaison and subject matter expert in delivery operations.
• Collaborate with Store Operations, Distribution Center (DC) Operations, Inventory Control, and other cross-functional teams.
• Achieve and surpass financial, operational, and customer experience objectives.
• Oversee and enhance people and processes.
• Foster customer satisfaction across over 200 daily routes and $750M in sales volume delivered.
• Manage Profit & Loss (P&L), forecasting, cost optimization, revenue, and service outcomes.
• Spearhead cross-functional initiatives and achieve measurable outcomes.
• Analyze intricate problems and implement solutions to enhance routing efficiency, compliance, and depot performance.
• Cultivate a positive, high-performance culture through transparent leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams across multiple locations.
• Strong history of talent development, coaching, and accountability.
• Over 7 years of experience in transportation logistics management and retail multi-unit operations, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Expertise in P&L management, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Capability to align business goals with operational execution and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven track record of analyzing complex issues and enhancing routing efficiency, compliance, and depot performance.
• Proficient in SAP, routing software, WMS, and CX platforms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of management.
• Skills in conflict management and motivational leadership.
• Experience in negotiating contracts and managing 3PL partnerships.
• Willingness to manage a travel schedule of 50%.
• Bachelor’s degree or 15 years of equivalent experience in transportation logistics or retail multi-unit management.
• Over 7 years in logistics management with proven continuous improvement.
• More than 7 years in multi-unit retail leadership.
• Capacity to work a typical 50+ hour week and travel about 50% of the time.
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, and handle/move up to 50 lbs unassisted; up to 100 lbs with reasonable accommodation.
