Regional Data Center Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Build and lead an exceptional Data Center Operations team responsible for hardware operations support, network operations support, and scalable infrastructure.

• Define NVIDIA’s strategic vision for global Data Center growth and operations.

• Anticipate challenges related to growth and scaling, implementing effective solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-organizational business partners to create a Data Center Lab support model.

• Develop metrics, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to assess organizational performance and promote continuous optimization.

• Cultivate strong relationships with both internal and external partners, fostering a transparent and collaborative business unit.

• Organize key meetings and communications to ensure alignment among executive and senior leadership regarding Data Center status, growth roadmap, and cross-functional initiatives.

• Identify, monitor, and prioritize key risks while developing effective mitigation strategies.

• Create processes and workflows to shift from reactive responses to proactive, planned services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A positive, energetic attitude.

• BS, BA, or BEng degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience); a Master's degree is preferred.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience in data center operations, infrastructure, hardware, and networking, including people management.

• At least 4 years of experience leading distributed and diverse teams.

• Ability to tolerate ambiguity, demonstrate flexibility, and be open to implementing ideas from others.

• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs amid changing priorities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong quantitative, organizational, and analytical abilities.

• Capable of presenting concise conclusions and providing necessary supporting analysis.

• A passionate, innovative, and tech-savvy approach to problem-solving.

• Demonstrated determination to achieve results in a fast-paced technology environment.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in managing multiple priorities effectively.

• In-depth understanding of data center power, cooling, network, and cabling infrastructure.

• Familiarity with NetBox, CMMS, SNOW, and inventory management tools.

• Self-motivated mindset focused on growth, continuous learning, and team enhancement.

• Ability to engage with stakeholders ranging from SVP to field engineer to customer.

• Positive demeanor, strategic perspective, and strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
