This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Formulate and implement account strategies specifically designed for corporate veterinary clients.
• Provide strategic leadership for the enterprise account team.
• Identify and explore opportunities for business expansion within current accounts.
• Monitor account performance, mitigate risks, and ensure client retention and satisfaction.
• Maximize revenues for Zoetis in alignment with strategic contracts and agreements.
• Achieve sales targets and stimulate demand for key growth products.
• Execute joint partnership initiatives with Petcare sales and medical teams.
• Introduce new products and service offerings to the market.
• Act as the executive sponsor for major veterinary enterprise clients.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with veterinary C-Suite executives and senior stakeholders.
• Anticipate client requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with teams in finance, net revenue management, legal, marketing, medical, and field sales.
• Implement enterprise account plans alongside regional, marketing, medical, and field sales teams.
• Set performance benchmarks, monitor progress, and report on revenue, satisfaction, and profitability metrics.
• Utilize the CRM system to discover and pursue growth opportunities within accounts.
• Offer quarterly operational guidance for the Corporate and Specialty sales team.
• Engage in quarterly business reviews and refine strategies, tactics, and investments as necessary.
• Develop tools to track and measure ROI.
• Ensure precise revenue forecasting.
• Report directly to the Head of Corporate and Specialty.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Veterinary Science, Animal Health, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise account management.
• At least 3 years in a leadership capacity within the veterinary, animal health, or healthcare sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary practice operations, industry trends, and challenges faced by enterprise veterinary clients.
• Familiarity with veterinary products, services, and technological solutions, including practice management software, diagnostics, and pharmaceuticals.
• Proven expertise in formulating and executing long-term account strategies within the veterinary market.
• Strong business insight and understanding of veterinary client environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a knack for influencing and negotiating with veterinary executives and senior stakeholders.
• Established history of nurturing and maintaining senior client relationships in the veterinary industry.
• Capability to interpret financial models, contracts, compliance requirements, and medical insights relevant to enterprise accounts.
• Competence in analyzing account performance, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.
• Experience with CRM and analytics platforms such as Salesforce and Tableau.
• Background in leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
• Proficient in conflict resolution, change management, and fostering accountability.
• Demonstrated success in reaching revenue, retention, and satisfaction goals.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
• Willingness to travel overnight 60% of the time, which may include some weekends.
