Regional Construction Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the portfolio management of 3–5 simultaneous data center construction projects.

• Facilitate landlord shell acceptance through tenant fit-out, including busway, RPP, racks, liquid loop, and CDU integration, ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.

• Act as the escalation point for schedule, cost, and quality risks across various sites.

• Collaborate with the Project Controls Manager on tracking at the program level.

• Work alongside the Construction EHS Manager to implement safety programs at each site.

• Engage with Design Engineering and Commissioning teams to ensure BOD and drawing approvals prior to construction initiation.

• Oversee the transition into Startup and Turnover phases, leading toward commissioning and integrated systems testing.

• Advocate for construction interests regarding landlord/lease delivery terms, acceptance criteria, commencement definitions, and schedule commitments.

• Provide updates on portfolio status, risks, and resource requirements to the Director of Construction Delivery.

• Travel 50% of the time across a multi-state portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial construction management, including oversight of multiple sites or regions.

• Proven experience managing landlord-delivered shell spaces and tenant improvement scopes.

• Proficient understanding of MEP systems, commissioning sequencing, and fit-out trades related to high-density computing (such as busway/RPP distribution and liquid cooling/CDU integration).

• Demonstrated success in managing general contractor and trade partner performance across multiple concurrent, geographically diverse job sites.

• Strong knowledge of schedule and cost tracking tools and practices; capable of functioning effectively without a fully developed project controls team.

• Willingness to travel frequently across a multi-state portfolio.

• Preferred experience as an owner’s representative or in tenant-side construction for hyperscalers/neocloud environments.
