Data Squad Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead technical initiatives and foster the development of the data squad.

• Act as a liaison between the data squad and various departments.

• Establish and prioritize the data roadmap.

• Maintain data quality, governance, and reliability standards.

• Cultivate the team and offer strategic support to other divisions of VExpenses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability for a 40-hour work week.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a technical leader or tech lead within data teams.

• Proficient in managing technical priorities and engaging with non-technical stakeholders.

• Extensive experience in data engineering.

• Practical experience in data science and analytics.

• Advanced skills in SQL and Python, along with experience in orchestration tools.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and data storage solutions (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.).

• Understanding of data governance and quality best practices (data quality, cataloging, LGPD).

• Preferred: experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, and Metabase.

• Preferred: knowledge of artificial intelligence.
