This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and support licensed real estate agents within the designated state.
• Evaluate contracts and ensure adherence to licensing regulations.
• Manage compliance with state licensing laws, association standards, MLS guidelines, and internal procedures.
• Offer guidance on intricate transactions and everyday compliance inquiries.
• Conduct training sessions on contracts, state real estate regulations, risk management, and operational best practices.
• Maintain prompt reviews of transactions and contracts utilizing company systems and tools.
• Keep abreast of state forms, legal updates, contracts, and regulatory modifications.
• Collaborate with the state broker and operations leadership on communications, compliance initiatives, and legal issues.
• Foster relationships with agents to encourage professionalism, ethics, and a culture of compliance.
• Travel within the state as needed.
• Candidates must be located in the U.S. and live in the state they will be serving.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the real estate sector.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position overseeing a large, active group of agents.
• Proven experience managing a substantial number of agents in a dynamic brokerage setting.
• Strong background in legal and compliance matters.
• Active real estate broker license in good standing with State Associations and NAR.
• Relevant continuing education credits in real estate, management, or legal compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities within a real estate brokerage context.
• Experience in resolving consumer or State Commission complaints.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent presentation and training delivery abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the state.
• Capability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to cultivate strong relationships with agents and inspire performance.
• High integrity, attention to detail, sound judgment, time management, and organizational skills.
