This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as a representative for Amgen products to leading physicians, healthcare professionals, and related institutional systems.
• Develop product sales and manage strategic accounts comprehensively.
• Offer disease-related information and education to medical professionals and affiliates who influence treatment decisions.
• Meet quarterly sales targets through patient-focused disease and product education while following compliance guidelines.
• Implement strategic account business plans and marketing objectives.
• Allocate resources based on leading and lagging indicators to achieve brand outcomes.
• Collaborate in a matrix environment with Specialty Account Managers, Thought Leader Liaisons, Case Managers, Medical Affairs, Patient Access, and other key partners.
• Share insights and proactively refine strategies to enhance account performance.
• Utilize available resources and peer-to-peer education to fill knowledge gaps.
• Navigate the healthcare landscape, including academic institutions, IDNs, accountable care organizations, and community hospital systems.
• Build strategic relationships with local, regional, and national Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Promote and support product utilization within targeted institutions alongside medical and scientific teams.
• Understand market access, government regulations, reimbursement models, and payer trends.
• Identify and explore business opportunities within institutional channels.
• Monitor and evaluate sales data, market trends, and competitive activities.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of diseases, therapies, clinical data, and scientific information.
• Employ a consultative, technical, solution-oriented selling approach for Neuro-Immunologic patients.
• Align clinical data with strategic objectives to influence treatment decisions.
• Ensure documentation and reporting comply with corporate policies.
• Doctorate degree AND 2 years of combined account management, sales, and commercial experience OR Master’s degree AND 6 years of combined account management, sales, and commercial experience OR Bachelor’s degree AND 8 years of combined account management, sales, and commercial experience OR Associate degree AND 10 years of combined account management, sales, and commercial experience.
• A minimum of 3 years in-office injection/infusion sales for a product classified as a medical benefit, requiring extensive coordination with patient access services, is preferred.
• Prior experience working in a matrix selling environment alongside patient services, market access, medical affairs, and reimbursement is preferred.
• Experience in market development or deep profiling in rare, unmet areas is preferred.
• Proven success in educating healthcare professionals about complex diseases diagnosed through clinical observation involving diverse patient profiles.
• A documented history of consistently delivering exceptional performance levels.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, highly demanding work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and computer skills are required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Professional and proactive demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20-30%, including some overnight and weekend commitments.
