This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.
• Take charge of acquiring and closing new business within designated geographic areas and/or states.
• Confidently sell to C-level executives, VPs, and field-based personnel, adjusting strategies based on the target persona.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and supporting sales teams to develop acquisition strategies and manage the sales pipeline.
• Appropriately apply the “zippered” sales methodology.
• Aggressively prospect and strategically follow up with potential new clients.
• Cultivate relationships with prospective customers through phone calls, emails, tradeshows, industry events, and conferences.
• Develop and implement a targeted outreach micro-strategy for each potential client.
• Organize and monitor the cadence of prospect touchpoints.
• Lead both in-person and virtual demonstrations of products.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts in accordance with company procedures.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize deals utilizing prospect-specific micro-strategies.
• Create outbound email communications using CRM software and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Achieve revenue growth that meets or surpasses quarterly business objectives and forecasts.
• Utilize cross-functional internal resources to secure new business opportunities.
• Implement Tenna’s strategic selling methods.
• Effectively understand and communicate the product’s value to potential customers.
• Travel frequently for prospecting, networking, sales activities, and onsite customer meetings.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market changes through associations, webinars, and events.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in selling enterprise software to the construction or related sectors.
• Proven track record of success in Enterprise SaaS sales.
• At least 7 years’ experience managing all phases of the sales cycle, which includes developing prospect relationships, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
• Over 7 years’ experience conducting targeted searches and research to qualify and convert sales leads.
• Extensive experience engaging with C-level executives, VPs, and field-based personnel.
• Strong background in quota-carrying roles that consistently deliver revenue growth, achieving or exceeding quarterly business objectives and forecasts.
• Significant travel experience, up to 70%, for prospecting, networking, and sales.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and HubSpot is highly desirable.
• Experience in leading both virtual and in-person product demonstrations via platforms such as WebEx, Zoom, or similar tools.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, particularly in negotiations, public speaking, and presentations.
• Ability to understand the needs of prospective customers within complex buying organizations.
• Strong negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related business field is strongly preferred, though not mandatory.
