This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Acquire and secure new business within designated geographic territories and/or states.
• Engage with C-level executives, VPs, and field-based personnel, tailoring strategies to fit various personas.
• Collaborate with sales leadership and supporting teams to devise acquisition strategies and ensure pipeline alignment.
• Appropriately implement the “zippered” sales methodology.
• Identify potential new customers and strategically follow up on established touchpoints.
• Foster relationships with potential customers through phone calls, emails, tradeshows, industry events, and conferences.
• Develop and implement a targeted outreach micro-strategy for each prospective customer.
• Organize and monitor the cadence of prospect touchpoints.
• Conduct both in-person and virtual product demonstrations.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts in compliance with company protocols.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize deals using strategies tailored to each prospect.
• Create outbound email communications using CRM software and analyze their effectiveness.
• Achieve revenue growth that meets or surpasses quarterly objectives and forecasts.
• Utilize cross-functional internal resources to secure new business.
• Employ Tenna’s strategic selling methodology.
• Effectively communicate the product’s value proposition to potential customers.
• Travel to prospect locations for networking, prospecting, and advancing sales efforts.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market changes through associations, webinars, and events.
• Over 3 years of experience selling enterprise software to the construction industry or related fields.
• Proven track record of success in Enterprise SaaS sales.
• More than 7 years of experience overseeing all stages of the sales cycle, including relationship development, contract negotiation, and closing.
• Over 7 years of experience conducting targeted research and queries to identify, qualify, and convert sales leads.
• Extensive experience engaging with C-level executives, VPs, and field-based employees.
• Solid background in quota-carrying roles, consistently achieving or exceeding quarterly revenue goals.
• Significant experience traveling up to 70% as a strategic approach to prospecting, networking, and selling.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related business field is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading virtual and in-person product demonstrations using tools like WebEx, Zoom, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, particularly in negotiations, public speaking, and presentations.
• Insight into prospective customers’ needs within complex buying organizations.
• Strong negotiation capabilities.
• Detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines.

• Remote work arrangement, with residency in or relocation to Rochester, NY required.
• Travel requirements of up to 70% within the Western New York territory.
• Compensation structure includes a base salary along with a commission plan.
