Referral Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee the process of order intake for healthcare services.

• Serve as the point of contact among the company, patients, and health plans.

• Confirm patient details.

• Validate insurance coverage.

• Manage authorizations and referrals.

• Acquire and distribute clinical documentation.

• Address inquiries from health plans.

• Investigate and resolve patient accounts or escalate them as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in intake referrals within Home Health.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in using various computer programs and applications, including EMR/EHR.

• Capable of self-motivation and independent work.

• Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and effective time management.

• Bilingual in Spanish is an advantage.

• Certification is favorable.

• Availability that aligns with scheduling and current staffing requirements.
