This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct dedicated Red Team operations that mimic established threat actors.
• Assist clients in evaluating the potential impact and likelihood of threat actors achieving their objectives across the Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
• Collaborate with senior leadership.
• Design and implement security assessments.
• Support other CrowdStrike Services functions to enhance clients' security measures.
• Execute penetration assessments on operating systems, applications, databases, and network infrastructure components.
• Identify and analyze threats.
• Generate written and verbal reports, presentations, security-focused recommendations, and factual findings for client management.
• Effectively communicate with executive leadership and technical support teams within CrowdStrike.
• Lead or assist in the development and enhancement of information security programs and resources.
• Provide expert guidance and utilize specialized knowledge and tools to operational teams during enterprise-wide crisis scenarios, including significant production service outages.
• Operate as a technical expert on various penetration testing services, maintaining an OPSEC mindset.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Red Team or Penetration Testing activities is strongly preferred.
• Involvement in the security community, such as speaking at conferences or contributing to tool development, is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with security assessment tools including Metasploit, NMAP, Cobalt Strike, Nessus, and Burp Suite.
• Thorough understanding of security methodologies, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Mac operating systems.
• Advanced knowledge of networking components, including routers, switches, load balancers, and wireless access points.
• In-depth knowledge of firewalls, proxies, mail servers, and web servers.
• Advanced operational support experience for operating systems, applications, and networks.
• Extensive experience in Red Teaming, vulnerability/penetration testing, and adversary emulation assessments.
• Advanced skills in automating and scripting applications and systems.
• Proven ability to leverage AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business results.
• Preferred certifications: OSCP, GPEN, OSCE, GCIH, GXPN.
• Occasional travel may be necessary (less than 25%).
• Must periodically undergo and successfully pass alcohol and/or drug tests during employment.
