Recruiter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete recruiting process for professional, technical, and leadership positions across various business units.

• Collaborate with hiring managers and HR leaders to establish candidate profiles, recruitment strategies, interview processes, and selection criteria.

• Evaluate candidates by screening, interviewing, and assessing their qualifications, and provide informed recommendations.

• Organize interviews, assessments, offers, negotiations, and maintain candidate communications.

• Identify and connect with both active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, industry associations, and other methods.

• Develop talent pipelines for key and recurring roles, utilizing market data to guide recruiting strategies and workforce planning.

• Adapt sourcing methods and priorities in response to evolving business needs, market dynamics, and stakeholder expectations.

• Leverage feedback, innovative approaches, data insights, and past experiences to enhance recruiting results.

• Keep hiring managers informed and provide guidance on talent availability, compensation expectations, and candidate engagement.

• Uphold the culture and values of IDEAL Industries while interacting with candidates.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of applicant tracking system records and monitor recruiting metrics.

• Adhere to relevant employment laws, policies, and procedures.

• Assist with employer branding and talent attraction initiatives as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of two years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.

• Proven experience in sourcing, screening, and engaging candidates for professional roles.

• Excellent communication, relationship-building, organizational skills, and follow-through.

• Capability to manage multiple searches and adapt to changing priorities.

• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Preference for candidates located in northeastern Illinois.

• Experience in recruiting within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or technology sectors is preferred.
