This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Assist Default operations by ensuring precise reconciliations, financial records, and reporting.

• Facilitate initial conflict resolution, foster relationships, and encourage collaboration.

• Oversee processes related to deceased borrowers, which include verifying legal documentation, updating system records, coordinating with Compliance, and safeguarding against unauthorized disclosures.

• Manage successor-in-interest transitions and ensure documentation is audit-ready.

• Prepare files and documentation for mortgage claim submissions and audits.

• Follow up on mortgage insurance claims, information requests, and outcomes post-foreclosure.

• Prepare claims for loss mitigation to be filed through FHA Connection.

• Submit necessary documents to Government-Sponsored Enterprises for claims processing.

• Manage and submit monthly Electronic Default Reporting data to organizations such as USDA and Fannie Mae.

• Maintain precise updates on default status and historical submission records.

• Review and process inquiries related to state assistance programs.

• Ensure timely responses to government agencies.

• Provide backup support for other loss mitigation functions.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• One to three years of relevant experience or related work.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

• Ability to quickly learn and possess detailed knowledge of departmental policies, practices, and procedures.

• Strong numerical aptitude along with problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Detail-oriented and well-organized.

• Capable of achieving goals and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Proficient computer skills and able to operate in a Windows environment, utilizing Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• High level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Strong decision-making abilities.
