Record To Report Consultant – 6 months contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute or assist in the development of Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and bank management tasks.

• Reconcile bank statements with company records to ensure precision and address any discrepancies.

• Prepare cash flow forecasts and variance reports for management review.

• Align banks' MIS with system data and synchronize funds on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

• Review and confirm bank charges and fees; escalate any discrepancies to treasury or banking partners.

• Oversee automated bank statement uploads and resolve integration issues.

• Create, generate, and distribute management reports accurately and punctually.

• Provide documentation and insights for cash and bank-related audit inquiries.

• Collaborate with AP teams to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

• Engage with banking partners on operational challenges, account inquiries, and service enhancements.

• Monitor KPIs related to cash and bank processes, including reconciliation timeliness and error rates.

• Propose process improvement ideas based on best practices.

• Address customer queries within agreed SLA timelines.

• Support and maintain existing MIS systems.

• Assist the team leader with MIS and bank management initiatives.

• Execute MIS and bank management responsibilities within defined turnaround times.

• Guarantee 100% accuracy in daily activities to meet SLAs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong documentation and organizational abilities.

• Quick learner of reporting applications.

• Understanding of the finalization of trial balance and preparation of draft balance sheets.

• Experience with SAP Finance and related modules.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Fluent in both spoken and written English.

• Ability to work 8.5 hours per day during UK shifts.
