Realization Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Carry out system implementation and deployment tasks across robots, AS/RS, conveyors, put walls, and associated automation equipment.

• Assist in the integration with WES, IMS, WMS, and other orchestration software, encompassing commissioning, configuration, and project-site deployment activities.

• Convert project requirements and functional designs into operational automation systems.

• Implement testing, go-live, and acceptance plans, validating system performance against throughput, reliability, accuracy, and operational-readiness KPIs.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, controls, networking, firmware, and software-related issues.

• Offer on-site and remote technical support following the go-live phase.

• Identify system faults, performance concerns, and integration challenges using logs, alarms, system data, and performance metrics.

• Collaborate with engineering subject matter experts and document recurring issues along with their resolutions.

• Convey technical issues, risks, status updates, and necessary actions to SIMPL and project teams.

• Suggest enhancements to system design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and implementation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• 1–3 years of experience in supporting automation, robotics, or other intricate technical systems.

• Proficient in system integration, commissioning, testing, or troubleshooting.

• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls, networking, firmware, and software systems.

• Excellent technical problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively across various engineering disciplines.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Systems Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
