R&D Claims Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Audit, monitor, and manage a steady stream of intricate collection accounts.

• Assess commercial or consumer collection files and decide on suitable resolutions, such as standard recovery, settlement negotiations, or escalation for legal examination.

• Perform a high volume of outbound and inbound calls to debtors, businesses, and insurance providers.

• Negotiate payment plans and address disputes.

• Keep accurate, real-time records of collection notes, payment arrangements, and account modifications in proprietary claims databases and tracking systems.

• Comply with industry regulations, federal and state collection laws, and specific client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of specialized experience in a corporate or commercial collection setting.

• Must hold a valid Collector License or fulfill state regulatory criteria to obtain one immediately upon hiring.

• Highly skilled in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

• Comfortable using specialized collection or claims software.

• Exceptional telephone communication skills, active listening, and strong negotiation abilities.

• Ability to manage a high volume of calls daily.

• Demonstrated alphanumeric typing skills of a minimum of 40 words per minute with a high level of accuracy.

• A quiet, dedicated home office environment free from distractions.

• High-speed, secure Wi-Fi connection.
