RCM Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and guide RCM personnel, including managing performance metrics.

• Conduct monthly quality assessments.

• Supervise staff scheduling and ensure compliance with time and attendance protocols.

• Ensure a balanced workload, enhance efficiency, minimize rework, and lower costs across RCM operations.

• Recognize challenges and formulate action plans to address or resolve them, escalating issues as necessary.

• Train, develop, inspire, and support team members in enhancing their skills, knowledge, and attitudes.

• Foster a work environment that encourages communication, morale, engagement, and the growth of team members.

• Identify performance gaps and opportunities, implementing action plans accordingly.

• Respond swiftly to inquiries from staff, leadership, and centers, including account investigations and resolutions.

• Timely completion of accounts referred to the Supervisor.

• Participate in or conduct assigned meetings, documenting agendas and notes as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or an equivalent GED.

• 4+ years of experience in medical billing/RCM, with supervisory experience or proven leadership capabilities.

• In-depth understanding of UB-04, EOB interpretation, A/R, CPT, and ICD-9 coding.

• Strong working knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management operations, particularly regarding Outpatient Mental Health payors and Commercial payors, including Medicare regulations, compliance, and HIPAA.

• Proficient in the MS Office suite, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Word.

• Clear, effective, and precise verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple concurrent initiatives effectively.

• Ability to handle all PHI (Protected Health Information) and Patient Identifiable Data with discretion and confidentiality.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
