This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide strategic oversight and leadership to global partner teams within the RCM sector.
• Manage complex projects and escalations pertaining to the RCM department.
• Ensure the efficient and timely completion of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• Oversee the onboarding and training of new employees while offering ongoing feedback regarding global partner performance.
• Act as a liaison between global partner/vendor team members and management.
• Document departmental procedures and ensure that standard operating procedures (SOPs) are accurate and up-to-date.
• Address escalations and escalate issues to the functional manager when necessary.
• Lead discussions with clients concerning performance, trends, and updates.
• Conduct regular performance reviews with employees and global partner vendors.
• Identify potential issues, assess their impact, and implement corrective action plans.
• Ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) and productivity targets are achieved.
• Foster positive relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Ensure compliance with best practices, policies, and procedures.
• Proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Maintain continuity of RCM department services during the absence of partners or assigned staff.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows for the RCM functional area.
• Lead department-specific and client-specific projects, including business plan development and risk assessments.
• Monitor and manage the quality of work produced by Global Partners.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for RCM within the broader employee community.
• Execute other responsibilities that support the overall objectives of the role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in revenue cycle management.
• More than 3 years of experience in vendor/partner management and/or client management.
• Familiarity with practice management systems.
• Understanding of customer service best practices.
• Knowledge of principles, theories, and best practices in Revenue Cycle Management.
• Awareness of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to the functional area.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based applications.
• Strong communication skills with cross-functional team members, peers, and management.
• Excellent customer service, problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, stay organized, manage priorities, multitask, and meet deadlines.
