This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Implement critical priorities with a focus on rare diseases within extensive, complex Centers of Excellence and pertinent accounts.
• Collaborate with Medical Experts and healthcare professionals to aid in the identification of patients with PROS.
• Enhance proper product usage and market share while positioning the product in a compliant manner to stimulate demand.
• Create, coordinate, and execute business plans focused on accounts that align with brand goals and PROS priorities.
• Utilize face-to-face, virtual, and digital interactions to provide significant experiences for stakeholders in accounts.
• Foster demand and sway decision-making among Medical Experts and healthcare professionals.
• Educate multidisciplinary teams regarding PROS awareness, identification, and patient care strategies.
• Partner with cross-functional Novartis colleagues and key account personnel to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Analyze customer needs, cultivate relationships, and offer solutions for intricate customer groups.
• Comprehend payer mix, address opportunities for product access and policy changes, and coordinate issues with relevant Novartis partners.
• Employ digital tools, platforms, sales reporting systems, and customer insights to pinpoint growth opportunities within the territory and customers.
• Identify potential patients through lead generation and prospecting, coordinating necessary follow-through resources.
• Collect customer insights across the designated geography and during local and national conferences.
• Relay findings to field and headquarters teams.
• Bachelor's degree required from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Over 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries involving large, geographically dispersed teams.
• At least 3 years of experience in one or a combination of Key Account/Sales, Management, Marketing, Reimbursement Management, or Institutional sales is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing complex accounts, including large academic centers and hospitals, demonstrating success in strategic account management.
• Proven ability to think within the healthcare ecosystem, proficiency in technology/digital engagement, and thorough understanding of one or more therapeutic areas.
• Strong record of expertise in therapeutic areas and product knowledge.
• Solid business acumen and capability to collaborate across functions in a matrixed environment.
• Must reside within the designated territory or an immediately adjacent area, within reasonable distance to a major commercial airport.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% of the time.
• Must be capable of driving and/or flying throughout the entire territory.
• Required to have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to complete essential initial training, which may include home study, of eight or fewer hours per day and forty or fewer hours per week.
• Customer-facing employees must adhere to customers’ credentialing guidelines, which may necessitate COVID-19 vaccination.
