This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Conduct 24/7 incident monitoring for mobile access and transmission networks.
• Oversee and resolve issues related to transmission network failures.
• Develop backup routes and provision circuits within DWDM and SDH environments utilizing Nokia, Huawei, and Ericsson platforms.
• Manage and maintain RAN components across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.
• Collaborate with Ericsson and Nokia eNodeB, gNodeB, and virtualized ASBSC elements, including CBAN, NCIR, and NADCM.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of Cloud RAN and 5G Standalone environments.
• Engage with virtualized network components and DELL technology switches within the ASBSC ecosystem.
• Coordinate and provide technical support to field technicians during the installation and configuration of RPC equipment.
• Ensure the quality of work aligns with network standards and meets client specifications.
• At least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications or IT sector.
• Practical knowledge of DWDM and SDH transmission environment monitoring.
• Experience with network management platforms from Nokia, Huawei, and Ericsson.
• Understanding of RAN technologies for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G.
• Familiarity with Nokia and Huawei photonic mesh technologies.
• Knowledge of Nokia trace elements including EMIL, MEGAMON, MEGAPLEXER, and UTF.
• Acquainted with Ericsson components such as TCU and R6K.
• Experience with OMS, Tarantella, Geiser, NRIF, FEMTOS, and Personalized Management Centers in a Telefónica environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Awareness of 5G Standalone and Cloud RAN architectures.
