Radiologist, Independent Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Become part of Advanced Radiology, SC as a General Diagnostic Radiologist in a thriving radiology practice.

• Interpret a comprehensive array of diagnostic radiology, encompassing Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal, Neuroradiology, and Nuclear Medicine.

• Carry out light interventional procedures.

• Dedicate 50%–60% of your time to a specialty, with general radiology supported by a fair coverage model.

• Enjoy remote work during daytime, evening, weekend, and various shift options.

• Commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per month.

• Operate without overnight coverage; a third-party service manages the hours from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. CST.

• Ensure workflow efficiency with the assistance of supported technology and support staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree.

• Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.

• Must possess or be eligible for medical licenses in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

• Capability to interpret a wide range of diagnostic radiology.

• Competence in performing light interventional procedures.

• Fellowship training in any subspecialty is preferred but not mandatory.

• MQSA certification is preferred but not required.

• Ability to read mammography is preferred but not required.

• Must be an Independent Contractor/1099 status.
