📋 Description

• Create engaging single-turn prompts related to radiological safety, categorized as benign, dual-use, or adversarial.

• Assess model outputs against established policy standards.

• Evaluate if responses effectively managed both legitimate and hazardous requests.

• Develop reference answers and articulate the technical rationale behind them.

• Differentiate between standard professional inquiries and those suggesting misuse.

• Provide written explanations that are accessible to non-specialists.

• Analyze and document misuse scenarios in radiological safety over extended periods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have held a radiation safety officer license, not just worked under it.

• Experience as the designated individual responsible for acquisition, inventory, transfer, and disposal.

• Relevant qualifications such as being a named RSO on a broad-scope license, RSO or deputy RSO at a university, hospital, or research institution, industrial or irradiator RSO, or a specialist in licensing and compliance, or radiation protection management.

• Familiarity with radionuclide and sealed-source programs, including Category 1 and 2 sealed sources, radiography, gauging, sterilization, licensing, regulatory submissions, amendments, inspections, ALARA, audits, training, and incident reporting, as applicable.

• Excellent written communication skills; every decision must include a rationale that is comprehensible to non-specialists.

• Prior experience in technical writing, published research, or serving as an expert witness is highly preferred.

• Must refrain from utilizing classified or export-controlled information, NDA-covered data, or materials subject to prepublication review obligations.

• Must disclose any such obligations to allow for appropriate scoping of the work.
