Radiation Oncology Care Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Support patients reaching out to Baptist Health regarding Radiation Oncology services

• Handle incoming calls from patients asking about proton therapy

• Deliver prompt information and assistance

• Coordinate communication with physicians, scheduling, insurance verification, and various resources

• Provide patients with immediate appointment options

• Act as a resource for members of the healthcare team

• Navigate BHSF and MCI processes to improve the patient experience

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• Background in Radiation Oncology or healthcare navigation/coordination

• At least 5 years of relevant experience

• Strong multitasking abilities and proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, internet/intranet usage, and EMR navigation

• Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and organizational abilities

• Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills

• Capability to adapt effectively to unpredictable situations
