Quantum Computing Patent Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Draft and file U.S. and international patent applications.

• Collaborate with inventors and engineers to grasp intricate technologies and formulate robust patent claims.

• Prepare responses to Office Actions and oversee applications throughout the prosecution process.

• Provide guidance to clients on patent strategy and portfolio enhancement.

• Foster and grow client relationships.

• Engage with patents related to quantum computing, cybersecurity, cryptography, semiconductors, software, AI, and other cutting-edge technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of significant experience in patent preparation and prosecution.

• Proven track record in drafting and prosecuting patents in quantum computing.

• Experience in cybersecurity, cryptography, semiconductor, or advanced software patents is highly desirable.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field.

• Registration with the USPTO is mandatory.

• Juris Doctor (JD) required.

• Excellent skills in patent drafting, technical writing, and client communication.

• Preferably possess some portable patent prosecution business.
