Quantitative Financial Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Create and oversee quantitative financial models for risk assessment, income forecasting, balance sheet oversight, or asset valuations.

• Evaluate model results, distill information, and present findings and recommendations to senior management, executives, and the Board.

• Validate existing models through back-testing, benchmarking, sensitivity analysis, and scenario assessments.

• Design automated solutions to streamline complex and repetitive tasks.

• Undertake special assignments and additional responsibilities as necessary.

• Comply with regulatory and compliance policies and standards.

• Fulfill mandatory compliance training requirements.

• Ensure adherence to relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering (Computer, Systems, Electronics, Electrical), or a related field.

• Over 1 year of expertise in quantitative fixed income and financial concepts, programming, and financial modeling.

• Familiarity with financial concepts.

• Preferred knowledge of statistics and quantitative methods.

• Preferred understanding of fixed income securities and analytics.

• Proven experience in object-oriented and/or relational database programming is preferred.

• Exceptional analytical capabilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear and concise expository style.

• Advanced interpersonal relationship skills.

• Strong project management abilities.

• Capability to work collaboratively, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities within a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.

• Skill in clear communication, proactive collaboration, and utilizing cross-functional insights.

• Ability to foster trusted client relationships and provide customized solutions.

• No unusual physical exertion is required.
