This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with the Capital Markets team to assess, structure, and price transactions backed by consumer assets.

• Create and refine capital structuring and pricing models for Affirm’s portfolio of consumer loans.

• Develop quantitative models aimed at analyzing and forecasting consumer loan performance.

• Offer insights on capital markets transactions to cross-functional teams to enhance funding strategies and merchant pricing.

• Work in partnership with teams from Capital Markets, Treasury, Merchant Pricing, Credit, Commercial, Product, and Engineering on funding, product, and business decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in structuring asset-backed transactions, forecasting consumer loan performance, and/or developing quantitative models.

• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Intex and Bloomberg.

• Experience collaborating with accountants, rating agencies, and both internal and external partners.

• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and influence across various teams.

• Demonstrated proactive leadership, project management capabilities, adaptability to ambiguity, and creative problem-solving with minimal supervision.

• A strong desire to understand the broader implications of business decisions.
