Quality Improvement Program Manager, Computed Tomography

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Maintain a schedule and perform audits on sites and systems across fixed locations, mobile operations, and support systems.

• Lead and guide corporate quality improvement teams based on the analysis of organizational quality metrics.

• Manage intricate and/or multiple quality improvement projects and initiatives.

• Ensure that project goals, outcomes, and objectives are achieved.

• Develop and oversee project plans.

• Monitor project progress, identify and address obstacles, and ensure that milestones are reached within specified timeframes and budget limits.

• Keep relevant parties informed about project status.

• Act as a subject matter expert for accreditation processes, including those from the Joint Commission and other organizational accreditations.

• Maintain readiness for surveys and educate team members on relevant standards.

• Monitor manager compliance with unit system checklists, Site Specific Hazard Vulnerability Assessments, and code drills.

• Contribute to the organization-wide infection control program by participating in the annual Infection Control Risk Assessment.

• Carry out other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Residency in Florida is mandatory.

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience is required.

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, preferably with a background in radiology or healthcare provision.

• Management experience in operations within the healthcare sector.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to teach and mentor others in QI principles and program activities.

• Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills along with problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Understanding of Internal Quality Auditing processes.

• Skilled in facilitation.

• Knowledge of Joint Commission standards as they relate to diagnostic imaging.

• Familiarity with OSHA requirements concerning accident investigation and workplace safety.

• Understanding of Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA).

• Knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) principles.

• A team player who fosters effective working relationships with both internal and external clients at all levels.

• CPHQ certification is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge in Cardiac/Coronary CTA (CCTA), including beta blocking, scan acquisition, workflow optimization, patient management, and best practices in coronary imaging.
