This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the main liaison and mentor for healthcare facilities within the designated state.

• Discover opportunities to enhance patient care and outcomes.

• Execute improvement initiatives and accomplish healthcare objectives.

• Work in partnership with nursing homes to assess needs and promote measurable enhancements in patient outcomes.

• Collaborate with local, state, and national organizations to connect providers and patients with pertinent initiatives and educational opportunities.

• Evaluate quality data at the regional, state, and provider levels.

• Facilitate collaborative learning sessions.

• Offer technical support to nursing homes adopting evidence-based practices.

• Engage with healthcare partners and providers throughout the healthcare continuum.

• Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare quality standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, public policy, public health, or a related discipline is required, or equivalent experience.

• Equivalent qualifications may include 10 years of healthcare experience or an associate’s degree with over 5 years of experience.

• Experience in healthcare quality improvement is mandatory.

• Extensive understanding of quality improvement principles and methodologies applicable in nursing home environments.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with C-suite executives, clinicians, administrators, and other health professionals.

• Knowledge of state and federal nursing home regulations, CMS quality metrics, value-based payment models, and accreditation standards.

• Capability to coach and facilitate improvement efforts and provide technical support.

• Must create an ICT account and secure an active EUA ID if not already held, including the necessary training, within 60 days of the start date.

• Preferred: experience in nursing homes or long-term care settings.

• Preferred: master’s degree in public health, quality improvement science, health informatics, or a related area.

• Preferred: Licensed RN, LPN, MSW, or CPHQ.

• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and administrators.

• Ability to oversee project timelines, adhere to deadlines, and produce comprehensive written reports.

• Experience in translating complex data into actionable insights and narratives for both clinical and non-clinical audiences.

• Must not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
