This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Create and uphold quality plans for designated accounts, converting client specifications into precise review criteria, responsibilities, and checkpoints.
• Collaborate on quality processes with project managers, project coordinators, internal and external linguists, DTP teams, QA specialists, and team leads.
• Engage in client meetings and quality escalations, articulating findings and recommended actions clearly in English.
• Conduct root cause analyses and manage corrective and preventive actions, ensuring follow-up on implementation and effectiveness.
• Track quality outcomes and provider performance, identify trends, and facilitate training or feedback to bridge gaps.
• Maintain and enhance quality dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI and Excel.
• Oversee quality resources and automated QA rules within CAT/TMS platforms, especially Phrase.
• Discover opportunities to streamline workflows and diminish repetitive tasks through automation and AI, verifying results prior to implementation.
• Document enhancements and assist colleagues in adopting and sustaining them, working with the Innovation team when additional technical assistance is required.
• Report directly to the Quality Manager.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in coordinating or managing quality processes within the translation or localization sector.
• Proven experience in developing quality processes, performing root cause analyses, and managing corrective and preventive actions.
• Familiarity with translation, linguistic review, DTP, and layout QA workflows.
• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English, capable of independently communicating with clients.
• Practical experience with Power BI and strong Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard upkeep.
• Professional background with CAT tools and translation management systems.
• Familiarity with Phrase is preferred; comparable platforms will also be taken into account.
• Hands-on experience using AI and automation tools to enhance workflows.
• Resourceful problem-solving skills, ability to navigate unfamiliar tools, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across teams.
• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools is a plus.
• Experience working with healthcare or government clients, or in other regulated environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of accessibility quality practices or alternative formats, such as accessible PDFs, large print, or braille is a plus.
