Quality Control, Prepress

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Evaluation of packaging and printing data for technical feasibility and quality, including color profiles, separations, overprints, special colors, trim, die cuts, and resolution

• Comparison of printing data with style guides, templates, and client specifications

• Ensuring the complete and consistent implementation of content

• Assessment of packaging designs based on checklists as well as client-specific and legal requirements, such as LMIV and cosmetic regulations

• Assistance in the technical preparation of printing data for flexo, gravure, and offset printing

• Close collaboration with design, prepress, and project management teams

• Early detection and reliable correction of errors

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed training in media design, printing technology, or a comparable qualification

• Ideally, experience in prepress, final artwork, or quality assurance, preferably in the packaging sector

• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat

• Ideally, familiarity with Esko DeskPack or similar tools

• Basic understanding of printing processes such as flexo, gravure, or offset printing is desirable

• High quality awareness and a structured, precise, and diligent working style

• Sense of responsibility, patience, reliability, and genuine teamwork

• Proficient in German, both spoken and written, ideally with English language skills
