📋 Description

• Perform Quality Control tasks on IRB and staff documentation

• Evaluate and thoroughly assess documents for precision against primary sources and relevant quality control benchmarks, federal regulations, and deadlines

• Provide constructive feedback to Research Services personnel regarding missing or incomplete components

• Manage daily workload priorities with flexibility and adaptability

• Implement procedures in accordance with internal quality standards and external regulations

• Support the supervisor or director's vision for team performance through timely completion of assigned tasks

• Appropriately escalate workflow issues

• Propose proactive enhancements to processes

• Engage in professional and personal development initiatives within the team and department

• Conduct quality control of recruitment, subject-facing, translated, and generic material submissions as well as site modifications

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• At least one (1) year of experience in an office setting, preferably within a regulated industry

• Basic understanding of federal laws and guidelines related to Human Subjects Research Protection

• Proficient in MS Word and Outlook

• Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, direct messaging applications such as Slack, remote meeting platforms like Zoom, and web-based proprietary software

• Ability to concentrate on tasks and responsibilities

• Strong verbal communication skills, including listening, understanding, responding, and speaking

• Capability to sit or stand for extended durations at a fixed workstation

• Ability to routinely carry, lift, and lower objects weighing up to 10 lbs
