This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
β’ Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives and targets.
β’ Complete time-sensitive tasks for high-quality clinical and non-clinical projects.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert in Quality Compliance.
β’ Conduct reviews of medical records.
β’ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for member and health plan management.
β’ Facilitate and support initiatives aimed at obtaining successful NCQA accreditation.
β’ Analyze data and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
β’ Comprehend departmental, segment, and organizational strategies and operational goals.
β’ Make informed decisions regarding work methods in situations that may be unclear.
β’ Adhere to established guidelines and procedures.
β’ Undertake additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
β’ Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.
β’ Must be a resident of the state of Michigan.
β’ Bachelor's degree required.
β’ Clinical experience is essential.
β’ Familiarity with Long-term service and support (LTSS) populations is necessary.
β’ Experience with National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation is required.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication, as well as presentation skills.
β’ Strong analytical abilities, capable of manipulating and interpreting data.
β’ Experience in office practice or hospital settings.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
β’ Preferred: Registered Nurse (RN) license.
β’ Preferred: At least 2 years of experience working with Long-term service and support (LTSS) populations.
β’ Preferred: At least 2 years of experience related to National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Accreditation.
β’ Preferred: Understanding of HEDIS/Stars/CMS/Quality metrics.
β’ Preferred: Experience with Dual Eligible Special Needs (DSNP) programs.
β’ Preferred: Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
β’ Preferred: Skills in project management.
β’ Preferred: Detail-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Preferred: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, self-motivated, and driven.
β’ Home internet service should have a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
β’ Work from a dedicated space free from ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
β’ Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.
