This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +37 more states.
• Take responsibility for ongoing reporting duties to licensing authorities, investors, warehouse lenders, and service providers.
• Oversee the renewal schedule for all Kin Financing lending licenses.
• Manage the application process for new state licenses, warehouse lenders, investors, and service providers from submission to approval.
• Uphold Kin Financing policies and procedures.
• Coordinate audits from start to finish and ensure post-audit remediation is completed.
• Facilitate the review and approval of vendor contracts in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Information Security teams.
• Record existing processes and enhance them as needed.
• Utilize AI tools for researching regulatory requirements, drafting policy and procedure documentation, and minimizing manual reporting tasks.
• Transition ownership of licensing, reporting, audit, and vendor coordination from the General Manager.
• Guarantee that reporting deadlines, license renewals, and applications are met on time and accurately.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a role with consistent hard deadlines and obligations to external parties.
• Proven track record of precise work where errors have significant implications, such as filings, financial records, contracts, or regulated reporting.
• Capability to swiftly learn unfamiliar regulations, systems, or procedures and execute them correctly.
• Experience in taking over responsibilities from others and managing them independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with regulators, auditors, lenders, and vendors.
• A desire to advance into program or project management roles.
• Must be able to live and work full-time in one of the eligible states listed.
• No prior experience in mortgage, financial services, or legal fields is necessary.
