Quality Assurance Manager – Freelancer, .NET, C#

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Create automated UI test scripts utilizing C# and .NET.

• Establish, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks.

• Employ Page Object Model (POM) design patterns for test code that is both reusable and maintainable.

• Design and execute automated API tests for RESTful web services using C# and .NET.

• Conduct API testing with Postman and automated testing frameworks.

• Verify API requests, responses, HTTP status codes, JSON payloads, and data integrity.

• Utilize NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest for the execution of automated tests.

• Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing processes.

• Integrate automated UI and API tests within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Run automated test suites and analyze the results of tests.

• Collaborate with C#/.NET developers to identify and resolve UI, API, and application-related issues.

• Maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation scripts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Tester.

• Solid hands-on expertise with C# and .NET.

• Background in developing, executing, and maintaining automated UI and API testing solutions utilizing Microsoft technologies.

• Practical experience with Playwright using C# or Selenium WebDriver with C#.

• Familiarity with API testing.

• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.

• Experience working with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

• Proficiency in NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.

• Experience in automating functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Background in testing RESTful web services.

• Experience using Postman.

• Proven ability to validate API requests, responses, HTTP status codes, JSON payloads, and data integrity.

• Experience collaborating with C#/.NET developers to identify and resolve defects.
