Quality Assurance Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the quality assurance strategy for the SiteMap SaaS platform, encompassing web, mobile, and field workflows.

• Create, execute, and continuously enhance QA strategies, standards, processes, and quality metrics.

• Mentor and lead QA engineers.

• Define and manage test plans, test cases, test data management, and execution for functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.

• Advocate for scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks.

• Utilize AI-assisted testing tools to expedite test creation, enhance coverage, identify defects, and improve release quality.

• Oversee defect triage, prioritization, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.

• Employ Xray, Jira, and similar tools for test traceability, reporting, and compliance.

• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to incorporate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Track quality metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership.

• Ensure adherence to organizational, security, and quality standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in quality assurance, including leadership or team management roles.

• Extensive expertise in test automation frameworks, automated testing methodologies, and quality engineering best practices.

• Practical experience with test management platforms such as Xray, Jira, Azure DevOps Test Plans, or similar tools.

• Experience in implementing automated testing within Agile, Scrum, and CI/CD environments.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools to generate test cases and/or test data.

• Experience in establishing quality engineering practices in cloud-native settings.

• Proficiency with API, UI, integration, and performance testing tools and frameworks.

• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Certified Agile Tester are advantageous.
