This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guide and enhance the QA team by providing coaching, setting clear expectations, delivering actionable feedback, managing performance, and supporting career development.
• Take ownership of the QA roadmap, prioritizing testing and tools based on customer impact while balancing the speed of releases with their reliability.
• Drive quality assurance during enterprise rollouts in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams.
• Establish criteria for release readiness, identify risks early on, and manage deployment challenges effectively.
• Create repeatable processes for recreating customer environments, isolating failures, validating solutions, and preventing regressions.
• Enhance the testing process through exploratory testing, targeted automation, and coverage managed by engineering teams.
• Tackle risks related to performance, session persistence, authentication, and accuracy of data capture.
• Effectively communicate findings, uncertainties, and subsequent steps to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including customers.
• Assist enterprise clients in confidently implementing Workflow Mapping.
• Proven experience in managing QA engineers and implementing significant quality improvements in a high-growth technology setting.
• Demonstrated success in coaching individuals, managing performance, and fostering a team culture centered on ownership.
• Proficient in recreating customer environments to troubleshoot complex issues and confirm fixes prior to release.
• Capability to convert product and customer risks into a practical QA strategy with well-defined priorities and evidence of success.
• Comfortable leading discussions beyond the engineering team, aligning stakeholders, and articulating technical trade-offs to customers.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to remain engaged with technical tasks.
• Competence in dealing with ambiguity, further investigating issues, escalating risks, or advancing releases.
• Relevant experience with desktop applications, browser extensions, enterprise device management, security software, or authentication is especially beneficial.
• Experience in leading a distributed team is advantageous.
• Must be based in the United States, with a preference for the Eastern Time Zone.
