Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate software applications developed or enhanced by the Application Development team

• Perform structured peer reviews and code assessments of testing artifacts

• Create, establish, and sustain realistic, compliant, and PHI-secure synthetic healthcare test data

• Develop and implement validation strategies for AI/ML and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) functionalities

• Engage in test planning, execution monitoring, defect management, and reporting

• Provide feedback on release-readiness criteria to Engineering and Product stakeholders

• Update and maintain the regression suite following each release

• Create and manage automated test suites using Python and JavaScript/Node.js integrated into CI/CD pipelines

• Craft and assess SQL queries, joins, and aggregations to ensure data accuracy and reconciliation

• Validate data flows between source systems, transformation layers, and reporting layers

• Develop and maintain automated evaluation frameworks and datasets for AI/ML features

• Validate applications, APIs, test environments, Azure-hosted services, data stores, and CI/CD pipelines

• Read and interpret source code in React, Node.js, Python, and ColdFusion, including pull requests and technical designs

• Write comprehensive test cases and test plans linked to code paths, business rules, and acceptance criteria

• Collaborate with developers during code reviews to pinpoint insufficient coverage, untested branches, and high-risk modifications

• Conduct post-deployment validation in production

• Investigate production defects and data issues, perform root cause analysis, and facilitate resolution with Engineering

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in automated software testing

• Over 5 years of experience in manual software testing

• Over 5 years of experience in component-level testing

• Over 5 years of experience in end-to-end testing

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with SQL

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with React

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Node.js

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Python source code in GitLab

• At least 2 years of experience in testing AI/ML

• At least 2 years of experience in evaluating AI/ML

• At least 2 years of experience in testing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• At least 2 years of experience in testing generative AI features

• At least 2 years of experience in testing workloads on Microsoft Azure

• High School Diploma is required

• Bachelor’s degree is a plus

• Capability to sit at a desk and utilize a computer, telephone, and standard office equipment

• Must successfully pass a background check before starting employment

• Must complete a drug screening upon hiring
