Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing of new features across various iOS and Android devices prior to launch.

• Perform regular regression testing on mobile platforms to identify issues before they impact users.

• Design and implement automated synthetic tests for mobile voice calls and SMS workflows.

• Develop test plans and strategies for new features and larger projects that involve multiple teams.

• Provide reports on quality metrics and bug trends to inform investment decisions.

• Alleviate engineering and product teams from repetitive manual verification tasks.

• Collaborate with engineers, Product, and Design teams to maintain high quality standards as the release pace accelerates.

• Work closely with the Connect team, consisting of 8 engineers and a Product Manager.

• Engage with other engineering teams on significant cross-team features.

• Assist in ensuring that Mangomint's communication features function seamlessly across devices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in testing mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).

• Proven experience in owning the test strategy for complex systems.

• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills to identify issues that others may overlook and comprehend their underlying causes.

• Strong sense of initiative and a commitment to problem-solving.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities, especially with non-QA engineers, Product, and Design teams.

• Practical experience with AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity in test design and automation.

• Comfort in reporting on data and quality trends in a manner that assists others in making informed decisions.
