This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the complete test strategy encompassing user interface, APIs, and analytics layers.
• Develop, construct, and uphold automated test suites for UI, API, integration, data validation, and model validation.
• Establish and sustain dependable regression coverage that activates with every change.
• Generate and oversee realistic test data, including complex customer data inputs.
• Conduct exploratory testing for new functionalities.
• Ensure data accuracy through the ingestion and transformation processes across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.
• Validate model outputs against expected results, baselines, and golden datasets for consistency and reproducibility.
• Test edge cases for risk calculation, geospatial accuracy, and workflows involving AI-assisted extraction and gap-filling.
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates.
• Manage test environment configuration, data seeding, teardown, and relevant infrastructure-as-code contributions.
• Uphold fast, stable, and reliable test automation while reporting quality signals.
• Coordinate release testing and provide sign-off on releases.
• Assist with performance/load testing, security assessments, access control and tenant isolation testing, as well as upgrade/migration path verification.
• Generate audit-compliant test evidence and maintain traceability from requirements to results.
• Document validation methods, outcomes, and known limitations for every model release.
• Convert requirements into testable acceptance criteria in collaboration with the Product team.
• Collaborate with engineers on aspects of testability, unit/integration coverage, and defect triage.
• Champion quality during design reviews and proactively identify risks.
• Maintain best practices in defect management, including reproducible steps, severity, impact analysis, and verification of fixes.
• 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance, encompassing both manual and automated testing.
• Practical experience in test automation across UI and API layers using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, or REST Assured.
• Proficient in SQL with the capability to independently validate data.
• Scripting or programming skills, preferably in Python or JavaScript, enabling the development and maintenance of an automation framework.
• Proven CI/CD experience that includes integrating automated tests into pipelines, implementing quality gates, and supporting environment promotion.
• Familiarity with testing REST APIs, including contract testing, authentication, error handling, and asynchronous workflows.
• Experience in test planning, test case design, defect management, and release sign-off processes.
• Understanding of Git and branch-based development workflows.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear defect reports and test documentation.
• Preferred: experience in testing data pipelines, ETL processes, analytics platforms, machine learning or statistical model outputs, Databricks, Spark, modern lakehouse platforms, performance/load testing, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), multi-tenant SaaS, geospatial data validation, and AI-assisted or agentic coding tools.
