QE Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and oversee the shared test automation frameworks utilized by engineering teams across web, mobile, and backend services.

• Construct and uphold test execution infrastructure that reliably operates automated suites at scale.

• Create tools for detecting and managing flaky tests.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance test coverage and testing maturity.

• Integrate quality practices into the development process.

• Develop tools for provisioning test environments and managing test data.

• Create tools for parallel test execution to maintain fast feedback loops.

• Monitor and instrument the health of test infrastructure, including pass rates, runtime metrics, and flakiness.

• Reduce friction points that hinder engineering teams.

• Contribute to internal documentation and establish best practices for efficient automated testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in test automation, quality engineering, or backend/platform engineering with a strong emphasis on testing.

• Extensive experience in designing and building test automation frameworks and tools, such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.

• Proficient in TypeScript/Node.js or similar programming languages.

• Experience in architecting test frameworks beyond merely writing test cases.

• Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructures, including Kubernetes and AWS.

• Experience with containerized test environments.

• Knowledge of API/integration testing.

• Understanding of end-to-end testing for web and mobile platforms, such as React Native.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong drive and proactive attitude.
