QE Automation Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Conduct functional, regression, and end-to-end manual testing

• Oversee the defect management lifecycle

• Develop automation frameworks utilizing Java and Python

• Create and implement BDD-driven tests and user stories

• Design and execute test plans and API tests using REST and Rest Assured

• Carry out UI automation with Selenium

• Execute GUI testing with Squish

• Leverage AI-powered QE tools such as Cody, Claude, Copilot, or similar platforms

• Formulate advanced SQL queries

• Utilize Agile methodologies and JIRA for defect tracking and providing quality insights

• Implement version control using Git, GitHub, or GitLab

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience

• Experience in manual testing: Functional, Regression, and End-to-End testing

• Proficiency in Defect Lifecycle Management

• Familiarity with BDD-based automation frameworks, ideally Cucumber

• UI automation expertise with Selenium

• API automation skills using RESTful technologies

• GUI testing proficiency with Squish

• Experience with AI-driven QE tools such as Cody, Claude, Copilot, or similar technologies

• Experience in Point of Sale / Store Systems is preferred

• Capability in building automation frameworks with Java and Python

• Knowledge of BDD methodology (user stories)

• Experience with Rest Assured and REST, including creating and executing test plans and API tests

• Advanced SQL skills, particularly in query writing

• Strong Agile and JIRA skills for defect tracking and generating quality insights

• Proficient in version control, including Git, GitHub, or GitLab

• Fluent in English
