QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and automate web, mobile, API, and end-to-end tests using ZeuZ.

• Define and maintain automated regression suites, prioritizing coverage of critical flows for Claro Video.

• Generate testing evidence (logs, screenshots, reports) for each testing cycle.

• Analyze execution results, identify false positives, and ensure the stability of the suite over time.

• Collaborate with development teams to report, prioritize, and track detected bugs.

• Suggest process improvements aimed at reducing effort and time in regression cycles.

• Integrate the execution of automated tests within the client's CI/CD pipeline, if applicable.

• Train the internal team on the use of ZeuZ, if the project scope requires it.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in test automation (QA Automation).

• Experience with no-code / low-code testing tools assisted by AI (or a strong willingness to learn ZeuZ specifically).

• Knowledge of web, mobile, and API testing (at least REST).

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and ideally, integration of tests in CI/CD pipelines.

• Analytical skills to diagnose real failures versus suite instability (flaky tests).

• B2 English proficiency to coordinate with the team and document in English when necessary.

• Desired (not mandatory): Previous specific experience with ZeuZ or other AI-assisted testing platforms (Testim, Mabl, Functionize).

• Desired (not mandatory): Knowledge of Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright as a background in traditional automation.

• Desired (not mandatory): Experience in the streaming/telecommunications industry or products with a high frequency of releases.
