QA Verifications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Perform verification of customer software utilizing the provided technical documentation.

• Execute software builds across a range of programming languages.

• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve build issues while ensuring that software adheres to quality standards.

• Carry out end-to-end testing of application features across various scenarios.

• Employ both manual and automated testing techniques to validate functionality.

• Identify, document, and report bugs or discrepancies.

• Analyze software requirements and technical documentation to gain insight into build processes and dependencies.

• Communicate with team members and clients to grasp requirements and provide updates.

• Stay informed about emerging technologies and programming languages pertinent to software verification.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of verification processes and practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and offer innovative solutions.

• Maintain quality, reliability, accuracy, and performance standards across systems and processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience with the fundamentals of Linux, Windows, and Mac environments.

• Basic knowledge of popular backend languages, including Python, Java, NodeJS, and PHP.

• Prior experience or familiarity with database and server configuration, such as MongoDB, SQL, and MySQL.

• Previous experience or understanding of Git.

• Technical expertise in various programming languages and software development tools.

• Strong ability to analyze technical documentation and discern key requirements.

• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve intricate software issues.

• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to adapt to diverse programming environments and quickly learn new technologies.

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Basic understanding of front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.

• Basic knowledge of AWS technologies is beneficial.

• Basic understanding of API configuration is an advantage.

• Experience with build tools like msbuild, webpack, and maven is beneficial.

• Over 3 years of development/DevOps experience is a plus.

• Ability to work remotely.

• Fluency in spoken languages requested in the application form.
